GROL stands for General Radio telephone Operator License test. It is a commercial license which allows its holder to operate, maintain and install US licensed radio and transmissions.

GROL Test Benefits:

GROL is required to work on any land stations in the US. Without which the permission to work on radio and transmissions is not allowed. The basic difference between GROL and a normal license is that GROL is a commercial license in contrast to all others which are amateur radio licenses.

GROL Test Certification Requirements:

To become a qualified GROL license holder one must be a resident of the United States. He should be able to receive and transmit spoken messages in English and pass two written exams.
