MBA Test


MBA tests are used by the US universities and colleges teaching management courses for taking admission of students into their educational institutions for study of MBA (Master of Business Administration). There are common tests across different universities while some of the colleges also employ their self-designed tests to take in students with a different set of skill and knowledge. The main purpose of the MBA tests is to understand the problem solving abilities and reasoning capabilities of the person while also capabilities of managing a team of people and the stakeholders.

Who should take the test?

Candidates who have completed four year graduation degree are only eligible to take these tests. All the degrees obtained from need to be recognised accredited institutions. People of any age can appear for the MBA test. Most of the colleges also provide suitable weight age to relevant work experience of more than a year.

How to book for the test?

There are two MBA tests – GMAT and TOEFL. Candidates can choose their exams slots for GMAT according to their suitability as it is held throughout the year. Candidates can choose among Mon-Fri among two slots – morning and afternoon. TOEFL is a test conducted to check the level of English among applicants.

What does the test have?

GMAT majorly tests the candidates on the following three sections

  • Verbal Ability
  • Quantitative Techniques
  • Data and Analytical Reasoning

TOEFL tests candidates on different variants on questions on English language.

Cost of the test

The cost for taking GMAT is US $250. Certain countries are also levied an additional tax for the exam.
