Self Esteem is the measurement or the metric of how you rate yourself. A self esteem test, hence measures the level of confidence one rates himself to possess. The Rosenberg Self-Esteem Scale and Coopersmith Self-Esteem Inventory are the important systems of measurement. All tests use one of these systems to test the candidates.

Self Esteem Test Benefits:

Identifying low self esteem means poor confidence levels and a warning of going into depression. Also, since it is a measure of how one thinks and acts, it is advantageous to know where one stands to be successful in life. It has an effect on one’s over all personality and growth. It also has a direct influence on confidence and the decisions one takes.

What does the test do?

The test typically has questions in multiple choice format or one line answer format on various psychological issues like background, fears, complexes, targets, future goals, self impression, self confidence etc. Basically what it tries to test is what one thinks about himself and where does he place himself. It is more of a test taken by self to know self compared to self. The comparison here happens to the person who is being tested to normalcy levels of the same candidate.
